The Fort Morgan Police Department presented their awards for 2009 at the Fort Morgan City Council Meeting Tuesday evening, February 2.    The entire text of Chief Keith Kuretich’s remarks is included below.

Good evening, and thank you Mayor McAlister and City Council for allowing us tonight to honor the accomplishments of members of the Department and our community partners for their outstanding efforts over the past year.

Remember your high school yearbook? A trip down memory lane can be such fun. Don’t forget to support your local high school students when they are putting together this year’s yearbook. Remember, you want your grandchildren to have the opportunity to laugh at pictures of their parents from “the old days!” Call the high school to place an ad or purchase a yearbook!

Two families will get a special treat on Sunday when they get to watch the Globetrotters at the Budweiser Event Center.  They were the lucky winners of tickets provided by KSIR and B106.  Thanks to all the folks who emailed and called in – stay tuned to B106 for more chances to win!
